Bottom paint and algae?

Does anti-fouling paint keep algae (fresh water lakes) off the bottom?

Hello Arron,
I would pull mine every couple weeks and high pressure wash the bottom, never bottom painted it. In Jersey a lot of the Marinas will lift it out and then let you wash the bottom and put you right back in.
if its really dirty,, can always use some mild acid to help clean it

Just a thought
Thank you
Jim
