Chip in Gel?

1 Attachment(s)
I bought a little jet boat for fun. The previous owner chipped the stern on the flake. He filled the chip with silicone and called it a day. I want to clean it out, bondo, sand and use some flat black primer, testors as in the kids plastic model kit enamel to match the flake, and finish with a good auto clear spray for durability.........

Would this work and look good on Gel?

I use testors for small scratch repair on cars with hard to match colors with good results.

a pic of the spot.....

check with a local boat yard that sells bass boats. They usually have gel repair guys that can match anything.

Clean it out real well with a wax remover before you start the repair! Silicone is evil:D :D

Yep, silicone is a neccesary evil. I'm a tad bit perfectionist when it comes to this stuff.....
