I had mine done by CMC (competition marine) in St. Charles, MO. I wouldn't do it again (nor do business there again). No change in top end, but I do think it tracks and glides better. Just like everything else with boating, it was probably only worth about half what I paid.

Some do it with out turning it over. You know there are many ways to do things. I suppose if your goal is to return it to original condition your described way is a very good way. If your goal is to change the way it rides and/or find speed other ways can be just as good.

not all gain speed but may gain more tracking ,planning,(etc) no they do not half to be bad to be done only a train eye can spot the little problems in your haul or take a long straight edge ruler to the bottom of your boat and if you see light between there it could be a problem get more than one opinion from a good glass co. always[ ASK QUESIONS ] !:evilb:

I have heard that unless you are willing to put a $4,000.00 Myco Cradle on your lift, or keep it on the perfect trailer, that blueprinting is only a bandaid, and that additional problems would continue to occur...
Anyone have comments about that?

yes,it is pretty important to keep your boat on a properly adjusted bunk or trailer. i have seen significant damage done over time by having a boat sit on a wrong trailer. Also something to keep in mind is if it is rack stored, how they are lifting it with the forks. That is also critical, seen lots of damage done by that.
