Clear coat
 
My 202 stinger is red. The topside is always getting chalkie.I have to buff it all the time.Could Iwet sand it with lets say 800 grit and then clear coat it with emron or some other kind of clear. Thanks JOHN

Yes that will make a huge improvement.

be careful when just laying clear over gel, especially red. I have seen it still fade through the clear than your really screwed. As long as its prepped how hard is it to lay on a few coats of a uv stabilized basecoat color? Sand it with no finer than 400 and use an adheasion promotor like Bulldog from SEM. Dust a few coats of color (PPG's DBC) than clear with PPG's DCU-2021 or similar.
