Jon,
Thanks alot... Joe :drink: |
What do you guy's think about using this stuff to paint an outdrive? :party-smiley-004:
I spilled some on my outdrive when painting the bilge and that chit will not come off. I put 14 hours on the Apache over the summer, each time the boat sat in the water for 1-3 days. The spill is still there. It got me thinking.......what if:evilb: |
Any comparisons between awlgrip and an interlux solution (2000e/2001 followed by vc performance epoxy)
|
Good thread---enjoyed the reading with all the different bilge paint products out there, etc....and sounds like there are some decent ones. I was initally thinking more along the lines of either Imron or Awlgrip for my bilge. I think I am going to give the Awlgrip a go and apply it with the Badger hair brush for my bilge because it sounds like it has the edge over at least Imron.
I am still learning about all of this, but I was told Imron can blister when in contact with water. I am sure there may be some PROS & CONS about each product, but from my research I have found that Awlgrip does not stain, blister, or yellow and just sounds to be very durable. |
they make several different kinds of paint. plus they make specific paints for bilges.
