how to remove bow roller marks
Last weekend we had to use a very steep ramp since the water was so high. What happened was the boat rolled on the bow roller leaving rollermarks. How can I remove that rubber off the boat? Tryed wd40 already..

The Magic Eraser ! Works good. Wet with water and scrub a little. won't hurt gelcoat
|
x2

Will wipe right of with a little acetone also. It will strip the wax so you'll need to reapply wax where you cleaned it.
|
Its thick. Its not just scuffs
|
Lot's of magic erasers and patience if it's thick.
|
Definately acetone with an immediate rewax.

See if you can find some plastic razor blades. They are great for such. They are very hard to find though. I found them last at Boat Owners Warehouse in FL. You could try a plastic putty knife too! Just be careful.

we use simple green at our shop plus a terry cloth rag, also if you go buy the little white, booty socks for tennis shoes they will pull over the rollers and stop the black marks.
