Removing Adhesive From Paint

I have a MitcherT paint job on my Sunsation and it has come time to remove my Indiana Registration decal's which we have to do annually. I think Goof Off actually removes paint so I don't think that will work and I really do not want to have to scrape it with a razor blade. Any ideas?

you can get regular adhesive remover from just about any hardware store but in my shop i just use a wax and grease remover. Its aggressive enough to pull off non hardening glue and wont hurt the pant. Its available in an aerosol as well and you should be able to get it at any auto body shop supply place.

Thanks Dave....the Paint Job you did on my old 24' Outlaw is still looking great today....the new owner lives only 10 or so miles from me!

use a heat gun to soften remove decal, then put peanut butter for a couple hours and wipe off. use regular peanut butter

I second the wax and grease remover. Most OEM's I have been too use this solvent on painted surfaces
