looks great. for the guys that are worried about up close looks, I'll phrase it like this. I own one of the largest clear bra companies in the industry. The standard answer follows, when you are looking at a wrap or a clear bra, you are always going to notice small things from the installation that you wont see on paint. It is simply because you are applying a cover over the paint, similar to gift wrapping a basketball, the reason paint is near perfect and more expensive is because you are adding to the surface then sanding and clearing to reflect perfection. wraps and clear bras are put on to achieve a desired result, for wraps a change at 1/3 to 1/2 the cost of paint, for clear bras it is to protect the paint.. the only fair comparison for a wrap to paint is you will like either one based on your budget. hope this helps :)
Question, we wax paint to keep and make it shine, what do you do with a wrap? |

Usually just wash and wax as you normally would. just keep in mind that you can do anything to the film that you can paint and that includes scratching it, the older 3M film you could actually wet sand and buff. We now have clear films that "heal" themselves from scratches.
If I were to design one myself, what kind of file does it need to be? I get bored here in citrus county and don't have the wife/boat/tools/or shop here so I have computer time!:evilb: |
How that wrap look's awsome really brings the boat to life.
