carpet adhesive -Removal
 

can anyone recommend a product to remove hardened carpet adhesive from fiberglass. I removed the heavy stuff with a wire wheel and sanding. I want to remove the glue where I cannot reach with the sander or wirewheel. I want to remove all traces of glue because this is going to get painted.

Adhesive remover from H/D and a putty knife.
Got a few years in the flooring business myself. lol

From experience a product called "Multistrip" available at paint and hardware stores works extremely well and is not harmfull to gelcoat or fiberglass.
