baja graphics

I just bought a 98 25 outlaw and was curious if the graphics are geled in or painted on, thanks.

If the graphics are one of the standard designs for that year, they would be gel coat.

What is the best way to cover up these graphics? When someone gets a custom paint job is it painted or gelled usually?

my old PQ had a pink stripe in the gelcoat I wanted to geid rid of, Raceline Digital made a blue vinyl stripe that covered the pink, it was a perfect fit, I think it was $600 or so
