glassdave 09-06-2012 05:28 PM

sounds awfully hot

cig20 09-06-2012 09:26 PM

i thought the white weave would be ok not hot

The white weave will most likely become opaque. I use the twill weave fg on some small parts, it does not look like white carbon fiber if that's what your after.

when your done saturating the fabric you dust some super white epoxy over it then wait for it to kick then bury it in clear epoxy ..

would be interesting if you could pull it off but again i dont think you could get that twill weave to come through enough. Also keep in mind when using epoxy for a final surface you wont have any UV protection and it yellows quickly (alot).
