boat wrap question

my buddy just bought the equipment and I get to use it. What vinyl material do I want to use on my boat? Not doing a full wrap just updating the factory stripes to something newer, but a small section will be below the waterline. Its a trailer boat also so only overnight in the water. I have never done any wraps so any insight would be great.

3m spend the money and get the best. You will regret it if you don't.

I wrapped a stripe on my boat last year, lasted 2 weeks. Used 3M Wrap. Fuel vented, gas ran down the stripe and lifted it all.

I'm currently having the stripe painted.

My 2 cents :)

launch, thats about what I am going to do. I am a painter by trade but I'm not sure what I want so I thought I would try a couple of simple designs before I break it down and paint it. I was looking at the 3m air agress. the price is not really an issue I just want it to look decent. I am just guessing but I think laminating would be manditory.
