Cig TG Transom Replacement HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am Replaceing a Transom on a 1990 Cig TG, converting it to Bravo from Trs.

I wanted to know what layup schedule is being used.

Im going to Bond 3, 1/2 Plywood with 3/4 OZ Mat, but I need to know what Material layup to finish.

I remember seeing on the site a schedule but I cant find it.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

heres one of my illustrations, had to dig it out of a thread here. im on my tablet with none of my atrwork. for a stouter old school layup add another layer of 1708 and use vinylester. also look into raising the x dim to something better suited to a B1 prop.

Glassdave, thanks for your reply,

How do I stick the wood to the transom, I was thinking of using a Puddy. Resin, Chopped Fiber.

if you have a nice flat surface you just put down a layer of 1.5 oz mat and screw it together, it will squish out the excess resin if done right. I laminate the two (or three) panels together the day before i want to install.

I gotta get my book done :D up to twenty two chapters. Funny thing is compiling the info was no prob but the pics i have documenting jobs over the years are almost unusable. I am having to find specific tasks covered and re document everything lol. Got millions of pics just not many that i can use. Thanks god i am good at illustrations

Dave if it is any help, you have my boat. Fell free to do a complete regel/blueprint job on the bottom and complete surface prep and paint on the rest of the hull. I have a decent camera and will fully document the progress in piks That should complete a few chapters, I know its a lot of work but I can even video several steps (all catalogued in DVD format) for you if you decide to publish in a multimedia format. Anything to help a friend!!
