Can you sand paint off gel coat and bring it back to a shine without being noticeable?

it depends, i have see/done it but success is a crap shoot. How long paint has been on, how thick, spent its life in the sun, etc? all factors. How big is the feature you are trying to remove?

O2 powerquest vyper, the boat and paint are in excellent shape just not crazy about the factory paint job.I would like to paint new graphics on it with out painting the whole thing.I could send you a picture and see what you think. Thanks for any help
