Beautiful work.
What material are you using for the cabinets?

Most is marine plywood, and some is melomine board. Its all coated with laminate that you can get at lowes.

Couldnt find a swim platform that i liked. Bought some tube and bent the corners. Cut the plate with a hand held dewalt 6" circular saw. Rounded the corners with a router and 1/8 radius bit. Bits and blades have all been wood stuff that has worked surprisingly well.

JustIntoCars,

In the event you haven't been using it up til now and you're not done using the router, a bit of WD40 will make those wood cutting tools work even better in aluminum. You can spray it on, then blow it off with compressed air, and the residual left behind will be enough for what you're doing.

Thanks. Brad.

Yesterday the planets aligned and there was someone at Wasserbeck racing.

Was in Prospect on a sales call when I saw a car in their driveway and figured I’d see if the door was open.

Lucky for me it was and Ed Wasserbeck himself was there.

Got a tour of the shop and a half hour history lesson on drag racing and motors and will be a lifelong memory!

Now I have a wizard to do my machine work and only a half hour from home!

Amazing capabilities, in what looks like a tiny building from the outside is huge on the inside and jampacked full of machinery including a CNC!

Even have a set up to test injectors for top fuel cars!

Ed’s son makes these intakes on the CNC for the Cummins diesel’s at Firepunk racing.

Told Ed I’m coming back w/a 6 pack, we’re locking the door and taking the phone off the hook so I can hear more history!
