Help me pick some color
On this project i want to use tuff coat and gel.
-gel would go on: front seats, dog box sides, rear seat bottoms and back -tuff coat would go on: bilge, floor, hullsides, dogbox top, rear seat center console and rear deck the width of the rear seat console. - https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...8faae2e92e.jpg https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...21063aaa5d.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...d7cf39a045.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...2a3a208ae8.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...e4be7843e7.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...8a63df19de.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...85cc247f33.jpg https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...d5ae32644c.jpg swim platform should be gel w/ nonskid additive but that texture wont match the tuff coat. which way gel or tuff coat ? cushions are going to be throw cushion foam with nylon covers, snap in place. upholstery guy can get any color i think. It's not looking like the windshield is going back on, 1 broken glass good luck getting that, so i want to make another gauge pod for the passenger side. for reference the blue ski nautique and overall pics, the glass work is almost done, 3 more pieces to go. no way i can match gel, i have a sample but the cost to have mixed over just a stock color or white is alot, So lets hear some ideas. Gotcha! I was thinking you were a little out there for a minute:crazy:
doctor said he's here----- but, he's out on safari Trimmed a piece off the ski boat, removed paint, primer and real fast in the kitchen sink i wet sanded it 600-800-1000, the gel is nice, everywhere paint was removed the gel was nice. i like this white on the seat plug, its fiberglass supply depot white with wax in a gallon plastic jug, no waste and for me it worked like a charm. No opinion on color from no one oso ? What is everyone in qaurrintine or something ? https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...9175d0fd63.jpg Against seat plug https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...e3a610ac6e.jpg Against race boat https://cimg9.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...184bb4fc97.jpg |
The windshield looks like flat glass to me with square corners. I could fabricate that in minutes. Go to a glass shop with the cracked piece,so they can use as a template. The only problem would be the color of the shade of the tint. The old glass has been exposed to the sun for so long the tint of the glass has faded, which might make you wanna replace it all. The price of sheets of laminate glass could make it pricey.

If anyone can point me to a source that would be great https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.off...864f6bfd00.jpg |
you can call nautique or try Taylor Made for the inserts... the rubber shouldn't be that hard to source, possibly even from a glass shop
