Looking for a vote between products to repaint the engine compartment:

Total bilge or Bilgekote?

Painted mine with Awlgrip and it's tough sh*t. After painting had the pulley come off whipple and pully didn't do any damage to paint. Was shocked. Friend had his painted with a emron came out nice also. Sorry haven't used either your asking about, figured I would share what products I have used.

Total boat and bilgekote will yellow in a couple years. I rolled and tipped awlgrip in mine also. In the past I’ve had pretty good luck with rustoleum with some hardener mixed in.

Ayuh,.... Another vote for Rustoleum, 'n Majic hardener,.....

Cheap, easy, 'n durable,.....

Same for Rustoleum and a hardener. It's important to make sure everything is clean and dry. And then again, make sure it's clean and dry. Any water left will create headaches.
