a mechanical trim indicator setup will set you back about1300 or 1400 if you use good cables, merc assy, and say a livorsi ind. panel . maybe less for a 2 card panel. and thats if you install it your self.

Not always, i am adding mechanical indicators to mine this year, if you look hard enough you can find deals...

I got a brand new Mercury racing 2 drive 2 tab indicator panel for 99.99 here on OSO

Got my drive actuators for 160.00

All I need is 4 cables, approx 50.00 each for tereflex33c's

All I need now is the 2 fitting for K-planes to attach the cables, even if i spend 200.00 more I am in the whole setup for under 660.00!!!!

It's all about how hard you look for deals..

the prices mentioned are for new parts at list price. used is the way to go for some people others care for new. some have patience and others dont. basicly if you look you will find. but for all new stuff from a supplier i dont think im far off, and of course i would rather be a little high than under.

this way people feel relieved for the savings.

The effort and expense for mechanical indicators is worth it. The electrical ones are borderline useless and undependable. With electric senders, you would do as well to look over your shoulder and look at the wake to see how you are trimmed.
