496 Oil Filter

What is the best oil filter to use with the 496 HO?

ac delco or merc. best filtration vs cost. Do a search in the tech section for oil filters. There has been a ton of info posted. I posted a study I had been emailed about filters, and the short story was ac delco for a cheap good filter.

I like the Wix 51069R. Still cheap and filters way better than most including Merc etc. The numbers out there are easy enough to find on specs. I pay just under 10 bucks each for wix @ Midas cost.

I use NAPA Gold 1086. Made by Wix. Get them cheap here --> www.fleetfilter.com
