what's the beni of one?

It adds fluid volume and allows the steering wheel to be turned more easily, especially at idle.

Plus it helps bleed air out of the system, while maintaining fluid level.

Have some really nice ones here:

I would say that if you have a full hydraulic steering system with 2 rams it would be a must.

Here is a press release for the new reservoir that we just released:

Performance boaters who step up to an aftermarket hydraulic steering system can encounter problems. A common one occurs when the factory power steering pump won't hold enough fluid to support all the additional hoses and plumbing of the steering system.

CP Performance of Rohnert Park, CA, has solved this problem by developing and fabricating an aluminum reservoir that has twice the capacity of the original plastic version. It's designed to fit an OEM or an aftermarket-style pump. The large-capacity power steering reservoir is more durable and functional, with 39 ounces (or 1.2 quarts) in size. It's currently being sold on its own for boaters using full hydraulic steering systems, but will soon be available in a kit that includes all the necessary components to add a complete power steering pump assembly to your engine -- power steering pump, pulley reservoir and billet port cylinder head mount kit.

The reservoir is on display at the CP Performance booth at the Los Angeles Boat Show, and will be featured at the display at the Miami International Boat Show as well.

Hope that helps! Good Luck
Brad
