Prop nut size & recommended torque lbs

I posted this originally in Prop Talk but have not had a response. Call anyone answer my questions here?

I have an XR drive with sportsmaster lowers. What is the recommened torque lbs for the nut? What size socket will I need for my torque wrench? Thank you!

My Stock Bravo One takes a 1 1/16" socket. I have never used a torque wrench on it, just a small flex handle breaker bar and snug it up good. I would guess somewhere in the neighborhood of 40-50 foot#'s

Thanks, I tighten the same way but was not sure if I should use a torque wrench.

I just looked in my manual and it specs 55 foot#'s for a bravo one. As long as it's snug and you use the lock washer with the bendable tangs you should be fine.

I always use a torque rench set to 55lbs and then turn what ever more you need to push the tabs down.

And yes, 1 1/16" socket. Helps to have rag or something to hold the prop with when you start crankin on it.
