Another vote for VR1 20-50. I believe that you are not supposed to run an oil with a huge viscosity range because the viscosity modifiers break down quickly. Something like that. I guess it doesn't matter if you do regular oil changes like most of us do, 2 or 3 times a season. I will never try 0-40 or 0-50 in my engine. That 0 is scary!

Mobil 1 15w-50 for regular oil. Shell rotella or delvac when I'm working on the motor and I know Ill be dumping the oil out soon.

I have 4 cases of the Mobil 1 V-twin 20w-50 that I'm going to try once I get my air fuel ratios dialed in.. From what I remember reading years ago the V-Twin oil got raving reviews from everybody and some people even said that it made the motor run smoother.
