How to make my generator Quicksilver type QS 5. 0G. winter ready??

a little by now I guess, but, shut off seacock, start gen, pour pink antifreeze into strainer, have someone watch until you see pink out of exhaust...shut it down, if pulling the boat, re-open seacock when out of water to allow to drain..done
