the head unit i have is a pioneer 6000 premier and it only has one pbus on the back. i think the xm and any remotes after that would have to piggy back off of one another, i just didn't know how many times you could do this.

After being in miami last weekend summer can't come fast enough!!! Only a few more projects wired remote, add 1 battery, tidy up stereo wiring, and add flush kits and i'll be ready to go!!!:ernaehrung004:

if you get bored i am, putting in all new plugs and wires, and sometime going to cut the hole for those speakers and install new batteries. i am trying to find a new stock flame arrestor if you know of anybody that might have one. looked at the k&n and they want almost $200 ea. seems a littel steep to me.

Picking up the remote this afternoon, i'll update with pics when complete.....i scoped out the wire routing sabercat suggested and it looks pretty straightforward

Got the remote in, looks pretty good i think. I installed the xm receiver next to the breaker panel. The new receiver has a neat feature which allows it to clean up the highs on mp3 files so they sound more like cd quality. I can crank it all the way up now with zero distortion!
