Outboard? Don't you just need a socket? I have all sizes and a 18" rachet if that's what you need?

Exactly, what Ray just posted, Ray and I are both in West Boca also. The Yamaha should be the same as a merc, 1-1/16 nut, and a tab washer. Bend the tabs out of the way, wedge a 2x4 between the prop blade and the cavitation plate, and turn the nut counterclockwise. If you need any help, we are local.

NO !!! Take a bucket with oil and set it in there ,,basicly place the bucket under the drive where the prop sits in the oil for 2 days and haveat it again !!!! It will come off ...spray it with blaster or WD 40 befor ,,reak good !!!

Don't cut it !!!!!

"PB-Blaster" blows away WD40 10 fold. Try spraying it for a day or two and it may surprise you.

OK,

now that makes sense, I dont have a puller big enough for that, but I bet if you were to take it to a marine service place they could get it off, you dont want to cut it, unless it is aluminum, steel would just take too long. There are a few places around here that I could reccomend, and they are both on this board. BAM Marine in Pompano(Marc), or Doller Offshore(Mindi, Dana, or Art) in Hollywood. Both also sell replacement props if you need one.

Rick
