Volvo 305 help
 

I need to set the timing on a carbed 305 volvo engine. Do I need to jump or bypass anything like you do on efi models or just set it and go?

How old of a piece are we talking about ?

The one's I've dealt with ( from the mid 80's
to early 90's) were a simple electronic distibutor,
no external timing controls.... on those, you just set it and go.

I have a 1999 VP 305 and timing is straight up, nothing to jump.
