Paint coming off my Bravo drive

I am looking at my Bravo drive and the paint is starting to come off.. At first I thaught it was over heating, but when I look at the fluid it looks brand new, also I felt the drive after running the boat WOT for 20 minutes and itissnot hot at all...I have a stock 502 mpi in a 272 baja. I run 70mph everywhere I go. I have 450 hours and the drive oil still looks good. But the paint is strting to come off 10 years old.... what paint should i use to fix it or should i have it serviced and re powder coat it?

Zinc chromate primer on bare aluminum and mercury phantom black on top.

I also had to look twice at what he wrote. If true, hey Mr. Baja-----only paint coming off? Consider yourself LUCKY.
