top mount control help
 

i have a quicksilver top mount control and the only way to get the damn thing into the throttle position is to hit the button with a hammer! can some one help me out with ideas and possibly a place to get one that will definetly work.... thanks

i might still have one in the basement...i'll check in the am, if i have it, it's yours...

sorry...can't find the freakin thing...being older now, maybe i already passed it on and forgot...switched to gaffrigs about 6 years ago...
however, if you're careful, the removal, inspection, cleaning and lube on those older qs's is real easy..just be sure to mark the cables...
