help 454 pucked oil
 

91 454 gen 5, carb, closed cooling

just had the heads off looking for reason for oil smoke on one side, found zip,
put new v/seals, pressure tested head and ex manifold,
put new head gasket etc and back together.

out for a run today and the ***** filled the bilge with oil.
engine rotates to right looking from the front, but oil slime is on the starboard side.
suspect front crank seal but thought it would wet port side
if front seal went out.

anything else could cause this issue
