trim gage not working
 
the trim gage started to jump around all over the place. then it would read like it was fine for a bit and then it finely went all the up. checked the back of the gage and took the sensors off the out drive cleaned them and it sill does not work. what else can i do?

Check continuity in wires (from inside boat out to sensor) ive seen them curode on inside of rubber Shielding.

Could be sender on the outdrive go bad. That is what happened on mine......wires got pinched and wore through during tilt/trim operation, gauge would not read anything. The whole sending unit had to be replaced.

the sending unit was replaced just over a year ago. but who knows they could have gone out.
