what size trim tabs pantera 24'

i just picked up a set of the older k-planes. the tab measures 18" long x 12" wide. is this to much tab for a pantera 24? the tab looks as though it can be trimmed a good bit smaller. this is a single engine boat.

There's almost no such thing as too much tab. The longer the tabs are the more it will handel like a longer boat. That being said you don't need huge tabs to get the desired result. If you got a good deal I wouldn't hesitate to use them.
