500 HP Factory Merc. wanted

I bought a 28' checkmate with a 454 and it is seriously under powered. I want to replace with a 5oohp merc verses building the engine i have. Does anyone know where i can get what i call a pull out engine where a new boat is upgraded to bigger engines?

Any help is appreciated!

it's a gen VI just dropped in the boat 2 weeks ago...just fired it up and running thru break-in, had it in the classifieds got no intrest so put it in....so can hear run...don't have pics right now..will take some over the weekend, give me your email, I'll send next week..Rob
