HELP, engine shuts down

I have an 02 Baja 25 Outlaw 496HO. Starts fine, Runs for a little bit then shuts down. My Carbon Monoxide Alarm stayed only a bit longer then usual once or twice. But once I start motor it shuts up. Not sure if that has anything to do with it. I just noticed Driveline fluid low. Not sure if that would cause anything either. Battery connections are good. My next step is to pull the ignition switch and make sure its fine. I just want to try everything before I put it back in the water on Sat. Also, I have a duel battery set-up and one of the batteries is dead, but I don't think that has anything to do with it. Any advice out there??

Couple of years ago my low pressure fuel pump went out and did somthing similar. It would start and idle fine, went to get up on plane and it quit. pulled the thottle back and it fired back up at idle. Stopped at a maina and changed the fuel water seperator and then it wouldn't even fire up. Looked kinda funnty getting pulled back to the launch by a 10 foot aluminum fishin boat. As mentioned the low pressure pump had locked up and the high pressure created enough suction to keep fuel supplied for idle but nothing more.

Ok I went thru the all the electrical connections on battery and power terminals checked fuses. Didn't pull the ignition switch yet. Started to rain. I'm going to look at that in the morning then take it out for a spin. I'm hoping it was the Driveline fluid. So far that's the only thing that could be the smoking gun. I'll still take any advice if its out ther

Oh thanks Hot Stepper but I get up to 4500 RPM no problem. RPM is not a problem for me. It will shut down at any speed. Only shut down once at idle. and I was on E so that could of been a fuel issue.

Low drive fluid only causes limp mode. It should not shut the engine down. I am guessing a fuel problem.

Problem was fixed by replacing the fuel/water separator.

Thanks guys
