1999 502 Mercruiser Mag Mpi Whipple Side Mount
I live in Delaware and I am attempting to install a 1998 WHIPPLE Side Mount Supercharger on my 1999 502 MAG MPI that I just rebred to a .450 and purchased a 500efi style cam from AS&M. I correctly filed the top piston ring for a supercharged application.
I need to figure out where to get the serpentine to serpentine crank pulley?
Does anyone know the magic formula to make the WHIPPLE bulletproof?
How to get installation directions?
I'm wondering what size injectors to use and where to get them?
What size fuel pump and regulator to use?
Where can I get the entire set up tuned before putting into the boat?

Ok
I live in Delaware City.It is for my 1999 Checkmate ZT2801. The motor isn't back in the boat yet. Last summer I blew a hole in my # 8 piston.I just finished getting the rotating assembly together and the heads back together. I think I have an all time record for rebuilding an engine.
I need my ECU custom programed to match the following upgrades:
It looks like I have to get rid of the Whipple brain and injector plate then bigger injectors and pump/regulator and get the assembly custom tuned.
I also need the proper whipple crank pulley. The whipple pulley that came with it is a v-belt (Inside) and serpentine (Outside). I need an all serpentine pulley to work with what I had prior to the whipple. It makes me wonder if the 1998 Whipple side mount can bolt onto a 1999 502 Mag?

What is a PM?
What is a PM?
So there is a Serpentine (Inside) and Serpentine (Outside) Crank Pulley. How do I order one? Whipple says they don't make them anymore, but they can sell parts to assemble one...

Call Eddie Young he has done many of these and has the combination figured out. The restriction on those is the stock throttle body. He makes a custom throttle body that lets this combo breath. I just helped him load a 502 with a side mount that I believe dynoed out at 750hp with the larger blower pulley. He has this ironed out with injector size, etc....You need to get it set up right and dyno it. Finish it right now and be happier later.
