i'd change out the impellor and housing in the spring, and also install a fresh water flush setup (hose fitting on transom or in bilge that ties into the input hose). then you can get rid of the muffs (cup).

Has anyone used the brass housing for the stock pump? What about the Globe "run dry" impellars. Brian
