No power trim or tabs - Help!
 

Put the Corsa in the water today for first time in a couple of months and while the engine started and ran fine, there was no power trim (although you could hear click when switch was depressed) and the trim tabs did not work. Interestingly enough, the blower and bilge pump did not work either. Seems like I have an electrical problem. Any ideas where to start? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

check all of your electrical terminals make sure they are not corroded. Sounds like a bad connection at least on the trim since it just clicks. Check the fuses and circuit breakers and make sure they are not tripped or blown. If that doesn't do the trick if you have a volt meter you check te voltages at each juncture in the system to help chase down the issue.

Thanks. Found the problem. Bad terminal connections. A little tightening and some well targeted "jiggling' solved the problem. Probably ought to re-wire the entire boat. A lot of old wiring, and kinda messy. Boat ran awesome though.
