Here's a diagram of the parts you would need just to convert the tranny for sterndrive use.

The VD's you need have a model number that ends in 014

The flange style cannot be converted to the plug in style. For your use either the 71 (10117) series or the 72(1018) will work. The 72 is stronger but 1" longer. If you use 71 seriws I would have them upgraded.

All chevys have the same bolt pattern on block, but if those trans are the same vintage as the 327's I would be careful. Also most likely (as Pickle says) they are for straight inboard and will not work.

We do have a number of like new TRS tailstocks if you need them.

Good luck with your project!

I have the complete change over parts you need i.e. bellhousing, driveplate, transmissions, coolers, starters, and all of the miscellaneous hardware from a boat I just parted out. All in excellent condition. Borg-warner 72c transmissions.
PM me if interested. Thanks, Gary
