Where did you get the intake setup? I have been looking for something like that. It looks similar to the Edelbrock ProFlo XT, which has shown some good numbers on the dyno verses a single plane throttle body setup.

Intake manifold
The intakes are made by Accel and are two piece. I machined a top plate so mine looks a little more custom.
This intake is used by many companies like Potter performance on there 777 and innovation marine. They are available in oval or Rec ports and are very inexpensive. You can find these for about 600.00 or less if you shop it. I had sent mine to Wilson Intakes to have spacers welded and ported for tall deck motors. Ken |

Looks awesome!!
Excuse my inexperience, but what are the advantages of these style drives? Less drivetrain power loss, less drag, stronger, less draft, prop closer to the water surface, etc. I've seen them before, but wasn't sure what the advantages were. Also, the thru hulls pointing down. Are they some type of muffler, or puts the exhaust under water while idling? Again, sorry for my lack of knowledge. It all looks awesome!! Just would like to understand it all. Thanks!! |
WOW! Beautiful. Cant wait to hear speed and video. Whens she gettin wet???
