carpeted bunks and blisters
Took the boat off the trailer to paint the trailer and found some blisters where the bunks touch the boat. Must be from the carpet holding the moisture. I ground out the ones bigger than a quarter inch. what would be a good product to fill these back in with. I dont keep the boat in the water and I am putting plastic bunk covers on now. I was looking at marinetex can I use this alone or do I need to put something over it?

we grind em out and gel coat them ,wet sand & buff ... then put some of these on the trailer bunks and she'll never do it again ..

I'm reworking the bunks on my lift and have looked at the glides but worry about damage to the hull with such a hard piece .... I agree though on the wet carpet can cause issues ......m
