Jegs mini torque starters
 
Are Jegs starters any good, my hitachi shot craps on me Jegs has one on sale from $149 to $111, or get hitachi rebuilt but dont know what a rebuil costs

I've had very good luck with the Jegs starters. Had both my original Hitachi's go out after 3-4 seasons and I replaced them with the Jegs.

I bought a jegs before anybody answered my thread mine was an hitachi as well was working great and then craped out not much of a warning then nothing

I've run the cheap mini starters from ebay and I've never had a problem yet. Run them on several engines. I am fresh water though. Salt enviorment might make difference for sure.
