CMI Tails Question

Hi all,
I know that over time CMI exhausts can get small leaks etc. Does this also happen to the tails? I need to get some for e-tops and was wondering if I'm OK with previously owned or need to get new ones.
Many thanks,
Yoryi

Tails are completely different than the headers are. The headers only really become a problem after extremely long hours of use in salt water conditions....IMO. I bought a used set of headers and had a pinhole leak in one of them but CMI fixed that for me. I wasn't worried about the tails for they just have a crossover from the header then open up about 3 inches from that into the exhaust. Hope this helps? I have a wet set of tails with O2 bungs for tuning I'm trying to get rid of for I need some dry tails. PM me if interested, Scott.
