anything that is tied to boating equals a premium than add high perfomance to it and double it. But I hear ya, I was looking at redoing my gauges and for a twin set up I was looking at close to grand in gauges, thats just rediculous.

For gages look at SS Competition

I redid my entire dash with them and they work great. This is the reason I built my Trim Stix to make more room for gages:)

well thanks I think you just made it affordable for me. What kind of gauges are they as far as the post on back. I think on my 29 fountain they are all post with a nut, and the wire has a metal loop and goes over post and tighten down with nut.

any advice on redoing a dash. There are a **** of wires back there

I think most were spade terminals. The SS Comp site has detailed line drawings of each gage.
