just behind them to rear. about middle of block. normally behind oil cooler/filter lines(port) and dipstick tube(stbd).

Below the motor mounts right down by the block pan rail. They are 18 mm heads for a socket or you can use an 8mm allen that they accept in the center of the plug head.

Thanks for the help here Ray. I was able to find the SB side plug and drained out a little over 3 gallons. The port side is buried under tubes and wires and so I wasn't able to drain that side. 2003 engine 800 hours with original coolant and it looked really good yet and was good on the freeze test strip. I figured I was able to replace more than 60% of the coolant so maybe I'm good for a while.
