Default Blind bolt holes Gen V BBC, intake and heads

It looks like most (but not all) of my intake manifold bolt holes on Gen V iron heads are NOT blind and need sealant on the bolts...true?
What do you guys using as sealant?
Can anyone confirm that all head bolt holes ARE blind and do not need sealant?
I was hoping there was some graphic of which bolt holes on a GenV BBC are "blind" and which are not.
Thanks

I use Permatex thread sealant w/teflon . Intake and headbolts. If arp headbolts just there thread lube on the blind headbolts.

I guess to be safe, I will put thread sealer on all of them (intake and head bolts). It can't hurt BUT I was hoping there was some graphic of which bolt holes on a GenV BBC are "blind" and which are not.

The only thing you need to do is poke a wire in it and see if it goes through, then draw a pattern on paper if you dont want to do them all, Ive also used the stuff SB posted

I've used both the ARP sealer and the Permatex and never had leak with either

454 gen V head bolt holes are not blind, 502s are. As far as intake bolts, Ive never used thread sealant on manifold bolts, just lube. I do put sealent in intake rocker studs fwiw, Smitty
