Hydraulic steering prob

Does anyone have experience with dual power steering set ups? I have to double check, but I think mine is Latham... might be Mayfair. I was out running earlier today and when I went to turn right I noticed something was wrong and I was not going to the right. Slowed up and it finally turned. Looked at everything and my starboard side power steering rod had come off the tie rod. Not sure how it happened, but it looks like that is all that happened. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

Looks like I should just be able to take off the tie rod and screw back on to the cylinder and then hopefully get the tie rod back one in the correct position. I am going to assume, however, that it is going to be a little more complicated than that.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Make sure you have your cylinders adjusted properly so you don't limit your steering also make sure the jam nuts are tight. Sounds like the rods just backed out of the rod ends.

Hey Livin, yup, after getting some feedback, that is exactly what happened. I turned the wheel until everything lined up, took out tie-end, screwed ram pack in and reattached and tightened everything up. Put power on and seems to work perfectly. Thought it would be more complicated, but looks like everything just went back together without any problems or needed adjustments.

Going to go around and tighten everything up back there before go out again.

Thanks!
