Engine wont go past 4500rpm
 

Boat was running great to 5000 rpm, now its runnng great up to 4500 then thats it.. Any ideas. Fuel at most 3 weeks old but had new fuel mixed with it

Sounds like one cylinder not firing correctly, bad plug, wire, valve?

Sure the tach is reading right? Did your top speed drop also?

Thread is six months old, I am pretty sure he got it fixed.

Was going thru some old threads, got called away and forgot where I was when I returned.

Maybe he broke down and is still stuck out there.
