Cutting exhaust tip flange

What is the best way to cut flange on stainless tips my tip are cut on top to fit because they are in hull high

I use a cutoff wheel in a 4 1/2" grinder .

I also used a cut off wheel on mine worked great. Another way is if you take them off you could used a chop saw.
