What are good a/f #s ??. Thanks for the input.

You have in my opinion built a near perfect SBC for a boat. I have twins with slightly lower numbers that I am putting in my 5600# Formula as I write this...can't wait to get it in the water.

Question...do you know what your oil temp was during testing? Are you planning on running coolers? Just curious.

Thanks

What was your compression ratio?

AFRs of 9.2 - 10.1? Were your eyes watering from the fumes?:D

Keep us updated. Project sounds neat.

Pro Systems

Just a little bit to clear up previous post;
My engine top end designer, Bob Madara and my builder,
Donnie Culbertson of Speed Unlimited Pensacola Fl are both
Pro Systems dealers in good standing. After starting pulls it was noted a/f r incorrect. Donnie called Patrick and a complete FIX was discussed. Replacement parts were shipped
within 48 hrs. Now that is service I am 100% satisfied
with my new stroker and Pro Systems carb.

I would have guessed at least 450 h.p. Sounds like a good combination. Eager to hear how it pushes your boat.

Edit

One little tidbit I forgot to mention. Bolted to azz end of
crank is a Fidanza aluminum wheel. Talk about throttle response,
can you say zip........zip ?? Hope it performs as stated. Thanks again.

Congrats! I've been very happy with Bob's combo on my Challenger.

Thanks for posting your info...... I would think you left some power on the table running so rich.. Sounds like you have a real nice and well thought out combo of parts! Excellent! TBF

Sprink 58 asked about oil temperatures. I have twin tube (one for engine oil, the other for PS fluid) 2" dia. 9" coolers on each stock 6.2. This keeps the temps to the edge of what Merc recommends at WOT. If you are not running a good sized cooler on a stroker smallblock (IMHO) you should.
