That sounds like a hell of a mix of Chemicals!! How would that go if you got some in your eye? Or swallowed ? I think you'd throw poison control for a loop

no different than if you were unclogging your drain with it. But as any junior chemist knows, don't mix base (lye) with acids! the lye is just a very strong form of the teak cleaner but if you don't rinse and neutralize with the weak acid solution it keeps right on cleaning until the teak is gone! :)

Use snappy teak nu to clean the teak (2 step). Let dry real good. Sand smooth with 220 sand paper. Apply 3 coats of Sikkens. Good for a couple years. Scuff and apply another coat after 2 years.

Mine is out in the weather all summer and has never cracked or peeled etc.

Been using it on this 27 year old platform for over ten years.

Oil,looks good if you want to maintain it. It attracks dirt.
