When looking at a flooded cell battery, quality presents itself in the packaging.

Here's what I mean.....

Look at the cell caps. If they have square corners, it is constructed with new lead and new electrolyte. If the corners are chopped off, it is all recycled.

I went with sears platinum batteries. They are a sealed agm battery, I forget who makes it for them. But it comes with a 4 year free replacement and prorated year after. Not bad IMO!
